Microsoft Dynamics 365

Public facts

Enterprise CRM and business applications

Microsoft’s modular CRM and ERP cloud; Dynamics 365 Sales is the CRM edition some national brokerages run on Azure and Microsoft 365.

Overview

Dynamics 365 is Microsoft’s family of business applications. The CRM entry point for producer teams is Dynamics 365 Sales, with published U.S. list prices (paid yearly) of $65 per user per month for Sales Professional, $105 for Sales Enterprise, and $150 for Sales Premium. Microsoft Relationship Sales (Sales Enterprise plus LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is variable-priced with a 10-seat minimum. Sales Enterprise and Premium include Copilot features; Premium includes 1,000 Copilot Credits per user per month. Dynamics is not an insurance AMS or medical rater. Brokerages use it when they already standardize on Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Azure.

Why it matters If a brokerage is already a Microsoft shop, Dynamics is the CRM that ties producers to Outlook and Teams—still not a substitute for a benefits rater or health AMS.

Target buyer
Larger brokerages and corporates that want CRM on Microsoft’s stack (Outlook, Teams, Power BI, Azure AD) and can fund implementation.

Overview

Dynamics 365 Sales is sold as core sales-force automation with optional AI. Microsoft’s Sales pricing page (2026) lists a free trial, then three paid base plans and a LinkedIn bundle. Enterprise edition copy highlights contextual insights, AI, and advanced customization, including access to prebuilt agents such as Sales Close Agent, natural-language insights, email and meeting assistance, and opportunity summaries. Premium adds Sales Insights, recommended actions, AI data enrichment, and 1,000 Copilot Credits per user per month. Extra Copilot Credits can be pay-as-you-go (Azure subscription) or prepaid.

Microsoft publishes a licensing guide and notes that conversation-intelligence and sales-engagement capacity vary by SKU. Customization via Power Automate and custom apps via Power Apps may need additional licenses.

Key Capabilities

  • Standard CRM objects: leads, opportunities, accounts, contacts, products, price lists, quotes, orders, invoices.
  • Mobile app.
  • Forecasting, goals, territories, and competitor features on advanced SFA (Enterprise/Premium feature grid).
  • Copilot in Dynamics, Outlook, and Teams (Teams features may need extra licenses).
  • Prebuilt sales agents that consume Copilot Credits.

None of these are group-health rating engines.

Integrations & Ecosystem

Native gravity is Microsoft 365. Insurance AMS or Zywave-style raters require custom or partner work. There is no official “benefits broker AMS” SKU on the Sales pricing page reviewed.
