First Choice Health (FCH) operates an independent preferred-provider network. The February 2024 contracted-provider manual uses older, more regional figures (about 130,000 contracted providers, 2,397 facilities, 368 hospitals) and names Washington and Oregon as the historic core, with growth in Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Alaska. About 930,000 people were served at that writing. Those manual counts should not be mixed with the later marketing totals.
