Overview

BoomTax (boomtax.com) is an IRS-authorized e-file provider. ACA pages describe electronic filing of 1095-C (ALEs) and 1095-B (insurers, Medicaid agencies, small self-insured employers) plus the 1094 transmittals, through the IRS AIR system. BoomTax generates XML, tracks acknowledgements, and files corrections. Clients do not need their own Transmitter Control Code.

The 1095-C workflow: import data → validate → e-file and distribute copies. Required data outlined on the site includes employee census, employer EIN, Part II offer codes (boxes 14 and 16), premiums, optional ICHRA fields, and Part III covered-individual months.
