Overview

BenefitMall was a Dallas-based general agency (Centerstone Insurance and Financial Services) that sold employee-benefits products and technology to retail brokers. CRC Group acquired BenefitMall in 2022 and, on June 16, 2025, rebranded the division as CRC Benefits. The benefitmall.com domain now presents CRC Benefits: 200+ carrier partners, 20,000+ brokers, 200,000+ in-force groups, Agency Workspace, Client Ready Quote System (CRQS), and access to trusted benefits-administration partners for digital enrollment. It is a wholesale broker service, not an employer-direct HRIS.

Why it matters BenefitMall is still a common name in SMB broker channels, but the operating brand is now CRC Benefits—a general agency plus quoting/enrollment workspace, not a standalone employer enrollment SaaS.

Target buyer: Licensed U.S. retail insurance brokers and agencies placing small- and mid-market group benefits—not employers buying software for themselves (site legal copy is agency-use only).
Pricing model: Broker/wholesale compensation; no public employer PEPM; CRC Benefits / BenefitMall does not publish software PEPM for employers. Overview

BenefitMall (legal entity historically Centerstone Insurance and Financial Services, Inc. / LLC, d/b/a BenefitMall and now d/b/a CRC Benefits) is a wholesale employee-benefits general agency. A February 2023 fact sheet described Dallas headquarters, about 20,000 brokers, and more than 200,000 small and midsize employer groups. CRC Group acquired BenefitMall from Carlyle in 2022.

On June 16, 2025, CRC Group announced that BenefitMall had officially rebranded as CRC Benefits, with new marketing at crcbenefits.com. The announcement said CRC Benefits supports more than 20,000 retail brokers and offers medical, non-medical, and stop-loss solutions. Bob Love was named President of CRC Benefits; the division sits in CRC Group’s Specialty + Benefits unit. CRC Group stated it has over 5,500 teammates and places more than $30 billion in annual premiums across P&C and employee benefits.

The URL https://www.benefitmall.com still resolves and now carries CRC Benefits homepage content: 200+ carrier partners, 20k+ broker network, 200k+ in-force groups, 40+ years serving brokers, Agency Workspace, CRQS quoting, and enrollment through “trusted Ben Admin partners.” Footer legal text is Centerstone Insurance and Financial Services, LLC d/b/a CRC Benefits, California License No. 0639679, and states the material is for licensed insurance agency use only.

This is not an employer-facing benefits-administration SaaS comparable to Employee Navigator or bswift. Enrollment is delivered through partner platforms and the agency workspace.

Legacy Ease integration is documented in older BenefitMall press and demo pages. Given Ease’s published sunset (no new companies after January 1, 2027; read-only July 1, 2027), brokers should confirm CRC’s current recommended enrollment platforms.

CRC Group is the parent wholesale distributor. Carriers remain the insurance risk-bearing entities.

Pricing

No employer software price list. Brokers are compensated through commissions, overrides, and program incentives (for example, older “Power of YOU” loyalty language on a 2023 fact sheet). Any PEPM charged by a Ben Admin partner is that vendor’s fee, not a published BenefitMall/CRC Benefits software SKU.
