ADP Workforce Now Benefits Administration for midsize employers: plan setup, mobile enrollment, 900+ carrier connections, ACA tools, broker access, and Nayya-powered decision support.
Overview
Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP) is a publicly traded HCM and payroll company founded in 1949 and headquartered in Roseland, New Jersey. ADP Workforce Now Benefits Administration is the mid-market benefits module (vendor cites a 20–2,000 employee range). It covers plan setup, open enrollment, life events, carrier connections, ACA forms, and optional AI decision support powered by Nayya. Benefits Administration is included in Workforce Now Plus and Premium packages and is not in the Select package.
Why it matters ADP is a default payroll system for many U.S. employers; Workforce Now benefits keeps enrollment, deductions, and ACA data in that same stack.

Overview
ADP, Inc. is a publicly traded payroll and HCM provider founded in 1949. Its corporate overview (updated September 2025) lists headquarters at 1 ADP Boulevard, Roseland, New Jersey; about 67,000 associates; FY25 revenue of $20.6 billion; and more than 1.1 million clients in 140+ countries. The public homepage states ADP pays 1 in 6 workers in the U.S.
ADP Workforce Now is the mid-market HCM suite. ADP Workforce Now Benefits Administration is the benefits product on that suite. The official benefits page positions it for employers with about 20 to 2,000 employees and covers plan setup, employee enrollment, carrier connectivity, ACA compliance, analytics, and broker access.
ADP also sells group insurance through Automatic Data Processing Insurance Agency, Inc. (ADPIA), retirement plans (401(k), SIMPLE IRA, SEP IRA), and lifestyle perks via Fringe. Those are adjacent services, not the same SKU as Workforce Now Benefits Administration.
Software prices are quote-based. A public options page lists three Workforce Now packages—Select, Plus, and Premium—and shows Benefits Administration included on Plus and Premium only.

The same page claims integration with over 100 HR, payroll, financial, and carrier/ERP systems. ADP Marketplace publishes Benefit Management APIs (dependents, beneficiaries, spending-account plans and enrollments) for Workforce Now.
Decision support is powered by Nayya. Lifestyle perks are offered via Fringe. ADPIA is the affiliated insurance agency for group health and business insurance.
Pricing
Workforce Now is sold as quote-based packages. On the public compare-options page:
- Select: payroll and HR; Benefits Administration is not listed as included.

- Premium: Plus features plus time and attendance.
Listed benefits features on Plus/Premium include flexible plan configuration, mobile enrollment, a benefits report library, an open-enrollment dashboard, flexible rate structures, invoice auditing and carrier connections, dependent/beneficiary tracking, ACA services, personalized decision support, and optional direct carrier connections.

Notes & Limitations
- Exact Workforce Now list prices are not public.
- “900+ carriers” and “1 in 6 U.S. workers” are vendor-stated and not independently audited here.
- Decision-support outcomes (for example, users who “felt it helped them save money”) come from ADP-cited survey language, not an independent study reviewed in this pass.
- ADP has other benefits surfaces (RUN for small business, enterprise HCM, PEO). This entry is Workforce Now Benefits Administration, not every ADP benefits product.
- National availability is inferred from U.S. mid-market HCM positioning; a state-by-state matrix was not found.
